Accessibility statement

How we make yutechi.com usable for everyone, what is not fully accessible yet, and how to reach us about accessibility.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Our commitment

We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to read our site, learn about our services and contact us. We treat accessibility as part of the quality of our work, not as an add-on.

Standard and conformance status

We aim to meet the Israeli Standard SI 5568 (based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG) at level AA, and WCAG 2.2 level AA. The site partially conforms: most of it meets these requirements, and the known exceptions are listed below. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget — accessibility is built into the site itself.

What we have done

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link on every page.
  • Pages have a clear structure of headings, landmarks and lists, and each page has a descriptive title.
  • Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text and controls meet colour-contrast requirements, and the site works when zoomed to 200% and 400% and on small screens.
  • The site is available in English, Hebrew (right-to-left) and Slovak, with the correct language set on every page.
  • Moving content — the technologies strip and the animation on the Services page — can be paused with a button, and animations are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The contact form has visible labels, marks the required fields, fills in your details automatically when your browser allows it, and shows error messages next to the fields, linked to them for screen readers; after a failed submission the cursor moves to the first field to fix.
  • An accessibility menu (the round button in the bottom corner of every page) lets you enlarge the text, switch to high contrast, highlight links, use a simpler font, increase text spacing and stop animations. Your choices are remembered in your browser.
  • The mobile menu and the language switcher open and close with the keyboard, and Esc closes them.

Known limitations

  • Project screenshots show clients’ websites; they are described by the project name, not in detail.
  • Projects link to our clients’ own websites, which we do not control.
  • The site has been tested with automated tools and by keyboard; a full test with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) is planned.

How we tested

In September 2026 we checked the main pages in all three languages (home, Services, Projects, a project page, About, Blog, an article, Privacy Policy and the 404 page) with automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and by hand: keyboard only, zoom to 400%, a 320-pixel-wide screen and increased text spacing, in the latest version of Google Chrome on macOS, at desktop and mobile sizes.

Physical accessibility

YuTechi does not have offices open to the public. We work with clients online, by phone and at their premises.
